AMERICAN SYSTEMS Intranet AIMS is now using SharePoint 2010. This new version is wiki-centric and provides social networking. The 8 month project was a total redesign from top to bottom.

Corporate Connect Portal

The Connect Portal is the access point for employees to connect to the corporate network from outside the office. I designed the UI for this application which has three levels of access from which to choose from. Once inside the Connect Portal each application has its' own iphone like app icon at the top. The landing page includes a large eye catching image and important messages.

IdeaZone

This fun application we built for the sharing of ideas and comments. It eventually will be used companywide for departments to share, find solutions, and increase communication.

I laid out this design and styled it using the Blueprint grid. Blueprint is a quick and easy way to layout a web page starting with Photoshop and then transferring the layout to HTML and CSS.

On Location Conference Room Scheduler

I have to say these on location touch screen schedulers are pretty cool. I designed the UI for these which are located outside of all conference rooms in the headquarters building. The user reserves a conference room through Outlook or on the touch screen and confirms their occupancy when they get there. If they need a conference room and it's already occupied they can search for another room by floor plan right on the screen. I had to make sure those buttons were big enough to fit those larger fingers. Hope you like the demo I created.

IT Request Portal

I designed the organization and UI of this online application from conception through CSS. This application has proven to be an important asset and time saving tool. All employees may utilize the IT Request Portal to request hardware, software, access, to make an office move, and other IT service oriented requests. It has been so successful we are now working on adding HR and Finance to the requests. The full version of the video is on the Video portion of my portfolio.

Department Of Homeland Security Online Survey

An important survey of the responders to the 2006 Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. I wrote the application in ColdFusion working directly with the analysts to collect specific data. I provided them with real-time percentages to answers within a backend administration application.

Horse Country Life

This was a brand new web site that includes the client's 100-page printed catalog presented in Flash. The site features a wide variety of handsome products. The professional photography makes the site come alive.
