I have been needing to try my hand at kinetic text and then I thought of Steve Jobs' inspirational quote. I just had to go for it.

This video was created for AMERICAN SYSTEMS holiday card they sent out to customers and partners. The purpose was to make them aware of the Wounded Warrier Project. The employees got the same card but offering a corporate match to their donations.
I had been wanting to do an animation with clouds and this was my chance.

For the 10th consecutive year, employee-owners of AMERICAN SYSTEMS will be joining thousands of others in the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Light The Night walks. The Light The Night walk is designed to shine a light on the vicious nature of blood cancers and to raise funds along the way.
The talking heads were shot on location. Voiceover was an employee. It's always fun shooting these people. The script was generated by the Business Development department. Art direction, camera, audio and post production by me.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS's) Team In Training Program Public Service Announcement (PSA). This video was shown on Public Access TV. Team In Training is amazing in their resolve and stamina for the cause. They are quite an inspiration.
I was responsible for writing the script and was the Producer/Director of this PSA. The footage and interviews were shot at the 2010 Marine Corp Marathon in Washington, DC. Some footage was also shot at the Team In Training practice near Mount Vernon. Post production included 60 second and 30 second spots. I received assistance when shooting the practice scenes from Mahesh Patil and Bron Gervais. My thanks to them, they are talented filmmakers.

This was a large project and a great learning experience. This piece is used by the company for new employees, and at their trade shows. I scripted, directed and produced the corporate overview. Put together with After Effects I was able to try out new techniques and effects. I am especially proud of the 3D photo effect later in the clip. I used stock footage and footage I had taken through the years of the Leadership Team. I think the music is a compelling part of the piece.

A promotional video for the then newly released IT Request Portal. Making the requests for assets, access, and service very easy for employees. The script was written by the CIO. I was the director and producer of this project. I used stock footage and created original graphics to illustrate the advantages of this new product. We used a professional voiceover. I also designed the UI of the IT Request Portal.

This is a short video created for fun. Yes, that is my voiceover and my dog. I took a class in voiceover techniques and my teacher would laugh at me when I would say something like, "Now I am going to sound angry or excited." I guess I am a bit of a monotone but I'm okay with that.
